Job Purpose:

This position requires both individual contribution and teamwork, applying fundamental engineering principles, specifications, policies, and procedures in practical settings.

Responsibilities:

Execute installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of protective relaying equipment. Conduct function testing of substation control circuits on relay panels, transformers & circuit breaker change-outs. Perform end-to-end relay testing using Doble ProTest software or Protection Suite. Develop written standard commissioning, testing, and maintenance procedures for protective relaying. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or completion of a 2-year program in substation/power-specific studies. Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience. Willingness and ability to work in field environments. Capability to obtain necessary security clearances. Flexibility for overtime work and travel. Physical ability to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, and lift 70 lbs. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
