We are seeking a Field Client Service Representative to support legal case management through investigative fieldwork and off-site support across central and northern Connecticut. This role includes client interaction, evidence collection, surveillance, and general operational assistance. The position requires daily travel, flexibility to work after hours, and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. A company vehicle, laptop, iPad, and phone are provided for business use.
Key Responsibilities
Represent the firm in a positive, professional, and ethical manner
Conduct off-site meetings and interviews with potential or existing clients and witnesses
Gather or deliver documentation and case-related information
Collect and preserve relevant evidence including police reports, medical records, accident details, scene photos, videos, and physical or digital materials
Perform surveillance when necessary
Analyze records such as police reports, medical files, and legal documents to identify key details and leads
Conduct case related background checks and other due diligence tasks
Prepare thorough and organized reports documenting investigative findings, including summaries of interviews, surveillance notes, and evidence logs
Maintain timely and consistent communication with attorneys, clients, and other legal staff to support case strategy, litigation preparation, and trial readiness
Remain accessible by cell phone throughout the business day and use the case management system for scheduling, communication, documentation, and data entry
Promptly process and submit all case materials, such as receipts, photos, and documentation, under firm protocols
Keep the company vehicle stocked with promotional items for client engagement and support logistics such as transporting equipment or supplies as needed
Maintain a safe driving record and follow all applicable laws and regulations
Requirements Valid Connecticut driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to drive for extended periods
High school diploma or GED required
Associate or bachelor's degree in criminal justice or related field preferred
Previous investigative, law enforcement, insurance, or legal experience
Licensure or certification as an investigator is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Friendly, patient, and empathetic demeanor
Ability to deal with conflict in a professional and respectful manner
Skilled in gathering, documenting, and analyzing information
Able to interact with diverse individuals in varied environments
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Adobe, phone systems, internet and other software programs and digital tools (e.g., laptop, iPad)

Salary Description
$20 - $25 per hour commensurate with experience
