Our Client in San Antonio, Texas is looking for a long-term fit for Nurse Practitioner (x2) to join a leading outpatient treatment center. We provide our patients with the best possible care in a relaxing, spa-like clinical setting. VEIN and LYMPHATIC DYSFUNCTION AT ALL LEVELS OF DISEASE PRESENTATION. - Monday through Thursday 8-5 - Fridays 8-12 (No weekends, no call) - Customer Service mindsight with education of patient top priority - English or Spanish speaking - Experienced in Veins, and still has spark for education and passion of practice - Promote the overall mission while overseeing clinical staff and working with interdisciplinary providers Responsibilities The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for diagnostic and therapeutic management of patients with various manifestation of venous insufficiency, arterial disease, dermopathies, lipedema, and lymphedema to include: complete medical history, conducting evaluations and physical tests, establishing diagnoses utilizing medical ultrasound, and developing and overseeing plans of care
Completes medical documentation on patients along with appropriate referral Educate patients on the current disease state Evaluate ultrasound study results and communicate findings to patients Provide follow-up treatments and care to patients in accordance with protocols established by physicians to include medication prescription and management Promote the overall mission while overseeing clinical staff and working with interdisciplinary providers Handle communications between patients, providers, DME (durable medical equipment) and other stakeholders Consistently deliver optimal treatments to patients
Qualifications Successful Candidate Should Possess: Minimum of 1 year experience in vein or lymphatic disease, wound care preferred (new grads will be considered) Prior experience in a private practice clinic setting (preferred) Current state license Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Strong oral and written communication skills (Spanish fluency a plus) Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system Background screening and drug testing required Taylor Kennedy Protouch Staffing CV to
