Family Medicine / Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO)

Job Summary
The Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician provides comprehensive, patient-centered medical care to adult or family populations in an outpatient and/or inpatient setting. The physician is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic conditions while promoting preventive health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care services, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of acute and chronic medical conditions

  • Perform routine physical examinations, preventive screenings, and health risk assessments

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with evidence-based medical guidelines

  • Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate

  • Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests, laboratory results, and imaging studies

  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment options, lifestyle modification, and overall health maintenance

  • Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals as needed

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and clinical meetings

  • Comply with all regulatory, ethical, and professional standards of medical practice

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

  • Completion of an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program

  • Board-eligible or board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

  • Active or eligible medical license in the practicing state

  • DEA registration or eligibility

  • Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills
