Since 2019, we have established ourselves as a leading supplier of frac sand to oil and gas companies nationwide, and we are seeking skilled individuals to join our team.
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Dry Plant/Equipment Operator to monitor and operate machinery at our frac sand drying plant, including drying, loadout, and storage facilities. This role may require operating heavy machinery, with training provided on specific equipment. Your primary work location will be in Bainville, MT, with a new site opening in 2025 near Williston, ND. You will ensure the efficient and safe operation of the drying facility, overseeing equipment, performing regular inspections, and resolving issues to maintain smooth processing. A strong understanding of dry plant operations, equipment maintenance, and safety standards is essential, along with a willingness to learn and collaborate with others.
Responsibilities: You will manage all aspects of the sand drying plant, including dryers, screens, and conveyors, while performing routine and emergency maintenance on machinery. Monitoring production processes, adjusting parameters to meet quality standards, and maintaining accurate production records are key responsibilities. You will assist in loading and unloading dried sand, manage inventory levels, and participate in construction projects as needed. Implementing and adhering to MSHA safety protocols and conducting safety training will also be part of your duties.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates should have technical training in industrial operations or a related field, along with strong mechanical skills for troubleshooting and repairing equipment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are important, as are basic math skills for calculations. The ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 75 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in a fast-paced environment is required. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, is essential.
