Experience Dental Assistant or RDA
We’re searching for a diligent dental assistant to provide support to our dentist’s office. You’ll be responsible for supporting our dental staff, helping prep for examinations and procedures, obtaining dental records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring our patients leave our practice with a smile. Requirement At least 2 years of clinical experience Comfortable with computers (all digital office) Reliable, on time, able to work overtime as needed Willing to learn Friendly Able to take a digital X-ray Able to support the front desk Chinese speaking preferred. Front desk task knowledge is a plus
Hours Monday 9 am-6 pm Tuesday 10 am-7 pm Wednesday 9 am-6 pm Thursday 9 am-6 pm (alternate off with Saturday) Friday 9 am-6 pm Saturday 8 am-3 pm (alternate off with Thursday)
After 1 year will also get a 401(k) matching and pension plan. 7 paid holidays and paid vacation. Compensation: $20 - $24 hourly Responsibilities: Get the patient area ready for any examinations or procedures by preparing equipment like x-ray machines, anesthetics, and impression materials and sanitizing and laying out dental instruments Support staff with administrative duties such as saying hello to patients, answering phones and making appointments for upcoming dental visits, ordering supplies, and handling billing Work with dentists and dental hygienists during examinations and procedures by assisting with dental instruments and assure the patients’ mouths are comfortable, dry, and accessible to the dentist Write down treatment information after every visit and ensure patient records include current dental histories Provide patients with oral hygiene advice to make sure they maintain pristine dental care a healthy smile Qualifications: Possess the ability to provide patients with excellent care and service Must have an associate degree in an accredited dental assistant program Excellent multitasking, interpersonal, and communication skills Able to perform basic computer and data entry tasks About Company We have been the top-rated dental office in the area for the past 10 years.
