Typical Day in the Role
Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is central team across a large SBU focusing on business operations and strategies.
Key projects: This role will be responsible for providing support and expertise to project/program/resource managers and project coordinating and helping EA with any administrative tasks.
Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 25% meetings: collecting agenda, updating notes, creating recaps, coordinate schedules/speakers, 25% communications, 25% project/program coordinating, and 25% administrative.
Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience with Microsoft office suite and teams
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience with Power BI
- Minimum 1 year experience with Microsoft project (understand a project plan)
- Minimum 2 years' experience with SharePoint
Summary
Responsible for providing support and expertise to project/program/resource managers
Job Responsibilities
Oversees the time recording and resource demands made by project/programme teams, ensuring that it is recorded in an accurate and meaningful way.
Provide full range of project and resourcing support on selected projects and programmes.
Co-ordinate and maintain Management Information (MI) which is timely, accurate and communicated effectively.
Ensure projects and programmes operate within the defined Project Governance controls and meet the required recording standards.
Provide financial and resource planning and management support to projects and programmes.
Planning as required in support of project and programme governance (e.g. Project plans; risk and issues logs, etc.).
Help develop and maintain resource model estimates and tracking / forecasting resource movements and spend.
Co-ordinate, and where appropriate lead various forums / boards / meetings in support of project/programme managers.
Trains and supports colleagues on process and tools usage.
