Job Description
Allied Universal Event Services is looking for a Remote Based Licensing Compliance Manager role to ensure compliance with all City, State, Federal, andContractualrules, and laws governing the employment of all contractor personnel across the United States.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Identify and highlight compliance concerns and trends based on analysis of internal and external licensing audits/reviews, licensing training requirement compliance reports In partnership with Operations Excellence Team Leadership, and Regional and Branch leadership team to identify and address compliance areas that need to be monitored or audited for each branch
Audit and review various internal and external licensing databases and software applications, such as ABI/WT and state portals for licensing compliance
Draft reports for the various lines of business and regions
Communicate with the local offices and follow up on all concerns related to licensing and compliance identified through the quarterly assessments and other mechanisms
Work with the business leaders on action plans and target date for any compliance concerns
Make follow-up referrals related to compliance matters to company stakeholders so that appropriate parties can address and remediate as necessary
Conduct training on the requirements of all operators; develop training materials
Proactively evaluate and address licensing needs and potential compliance concerns related to individual security professional (SP) licensing; make recommendations based on that analysis
Work with local teams to reinforce licensing requirements, answer compliance questions related to state or local security professional licensure, and offer guidance as appropriate
Assist other members of the Operational Excellence and Compliance team with research and clarification of state and local
Provide support for external regulatory audits the branches experience and assist with resolutions when there are compliance concerns
Work with the Internal Audit team on compliance and licensing areas
Provide support for initiatives related to subcontractor licensing compliance
Assist branches in adhering to branch registration compliance plans
Communicate with the state as needed, such as when reporting discharges, terminations, or when requesting information
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: The basic qualifications listed below are representative of the relevant knowledge, skills, and/or experience required in order to be hired. These are requirements that we have determined are the minimum a candidate must have in order to be successful in this role.
Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience providing legal or compliance support and/or guidance, or similar experience showing the ability to understand and interpret operational compliance requirements
Experience researching and analyzing federal, state, and local laws and regulations
Experience working with licensing and compliance
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization while functioning as a team member
Ability to gather detailed information, synthesize data and present the same in an easily understandable manner
Ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines
Ability to work independently and be self-directed, but also work with all levels of employees, which may result in having to re-prioritize work activities on a regular basis
Strong leadership skills, be goal orientated, and a strong sense of responsibility and ownership for the company's success
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Associate's degree or higher in business or related field
Experience in the security industry
Experience developing and delivering effective training on licensing procedures
Previous experience conducting audits or investigations
Prior experience in the security industry or other regulated industry
Project management and Smartsheet experience
Experience working with WinTeam/ABI
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT:
Office environment with minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures expected
Major activities include working on PC while sitting, telephone/radio use
Physical effort is limited, to include some standing, walking, and sitting, minimal to no stooping or kneeling
Must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law

May require occasional overnight travel to conduct audits - up to 10%
