The Manufacturing/Process Engineer II is responsible for providing day to day technical support and driving complex root cause investigations, for the instrument manufacturing product lines, including the assembly and final test processes, to drive quality and on-time delivery for our customers.
This position is part of the Manufacturing Operation located in Miami, Florida and will be on-site.
You will be a part of the Manufacturing Engineering Team and report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager responsible for providing technical support to the manufacturing lines of diagnostics products. In this role, you will have the opportunity t o:
Lead in solving technical issues and delays in production by driving to root cause through design of experiments and working cross functionally with other teams in the organization.
Develop and implement new or enhance existing manufacturing methods, techniques, processes, and tooling on fabricated parts, components, subassemblies, and final products.
Coordinate the implementation of changes due to process changes, product enhancements/revisions, and new product launches to ensure smooth transition to production floor.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's degree with 2+ years' experience, or a master's degree with 0+ years of experience (Engineering degrees in mechanical, electrical, and industrial preferred)
Experience in interpreting and creating technical drawings/schematics.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Regulated Industries (e.g. FDA, ISO)
Bilingual in Spanish
