As a Server, a typical day might include the following:

Greeting guests joining us with a welcoming smile and friendly demeanor Attending to guests and taking food and/or beverage orders Ensuring guests' orders are accurate and served in a timely manner Anticipating guest needs and fulfilling them Preparing guest checks and collecting accurate payment Resolving any service issues that arise with empathy and according to guidelines Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening when needed according to all company guidelines Promoting Big Night Entertainment Group in a positive and professional manner Maintaining a clean and well stocked work environment Other duties as assigned Requirements

This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications: At least 1 year direct serving experience in an upscale, high volume restaurant required Previous experience with Asian or Asian-fusion cuisine preferred TIPS Certification a plus and will be required if chosen for the position A neat and professional appearance Efficient and accurate communication skills Ability to build guest loyalty with an outgoing and friendly demeanor Excellent memory and ability to multitask Work schedule flexibility with night, weekend and holiday availability. Sunday and Monday availability in particular are a must A positive attitude and aptitude to handle high-volume environments Physical Demands / Work Environment / Hours
