Electronics Technician

We are seeking an Electronics Technician who excels in hands-on troubleshooting and is experienced with oscilloscopes and multimeters. The candidate should possess basic programming skills and demonstrate eagerness to learn under the guidance of a lead engineer. Strong documentation and communication skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting of electronic systems and components to efficiently identify and resolve issues.
  • Utilize oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to test and analyze electronic circuits and systems.
  • Use custom panel programmer (after training) for basic programming tasks to ensure system functionality.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of troubleshooting processes, repairs, and programming changes.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate technical information clearly.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and technologies to improve system performance.
  • Work under the direction of a lead engineer to support project goals and deliver high-quality results.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in using oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Basic programming skills with the ability to learn and use custom panel programming tools.
  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an individual contributor.
  • Soldering skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Westford, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
