Job Description
1. Education: High School Education. Bachelor’s degree preferred (Communications, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, or related field)
2. Training and Experience: Previous experience in the nonprofit or healthcare sector preferred. Experience with donor database systems and fundraising software a plus.
3. Job Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

DESCRIPTION:
The Donor Relations Specialist provides vital support to the Unity Health Foundation’s fundraising and donor engagement efforts. This role is responsible for managing donor communications, coordination solicitations, maintaining donor records, and stewarding existing supporters through personalized and strategic outreach. The Donor Relations Specialist helps ensure effective donor engagement through the coordination of appeals, events, and recognition programs, and serves as a key liaison between the Foundation and its constituents.
This position plays an integral role in building and maintaining a strong infrastructure to support expanded philanthropic initiatives, including volunteer coordination. The role supports the Executive Director in all fundraising, stewardship, and administrative functions as needed.
Physical Effort: Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Walking, standing, and occasional evening or weekend event attendance required.
