Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and providing an excellent dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients. Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all service ware is clean and ready for use. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the kitchen during peak hours. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred. Familiarity with food service operations, including bussing tables and serving guests is a plus. Experience in food preparation or culinary roles will be beneficial for this position. Knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards within the food industry is essential. A background in hospitality or catering services will enhance your ability to thrive in this role. Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
