SUMMARY
Smuttynose Restaurant located at the Smuttynose Brewery campus in Hampton, NH is looking to add to their Back of House team! You will be responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen area and a key member of the team. If you have a passion for restaurant work and great beer and the drive to be part of a winning team then this could be the job for you.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the availability of clean dishes, pots, pans and utensils by utilizing the cleaning and sanitization center in the kitchen
Clean machines, appliances and kitchen work areas as needs to meet sanitary standards
Unload and storage of deliveries
Sweeping and mopping floors; especially in the event of spills or broken items
Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans as needed
Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed
Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures
POSITION/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Work well in a team environment
Communication skills
Ability to follow all safety and sanitation standards and procedures
Problem solving and decision-making skills
Responsible and dependable
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lifts up to 50lbs
Patience with the ability to stay calm and positive under pressure
Excellent people skills
Night and weekend availability is a Must
