Full-Time Dishwasher Position

We have an opening for a full-time dishwasher position. Location: CxRA - 33-51 62nd Street, Woodside, NY 11377. Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule: Friday - Thursday, shifts may vary. More details are available upon interview. Requirement: Prior dishwashing experience is a plus! Pay Range: $18.25 per hour to $23.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition. Essential duties and responsibilities include: scraping and rinsing food from dirty dishes and washing them by hand or placing them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment; washing pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures; polishing silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures; ensuring compliance with outlined safety procedures; maintaining temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards; keeping dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards; sweeping and mopping kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards; washing worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces; removing trash and placing it in designated containers; steam cleaning or hosing out garbage cans; transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; helping load and unload supplies and product; and performing other duties as assigned.
