Now, were expanding into new verticals like residential restorationand were hiring the right strategic leader to help build systems that scale across industries.



About the Role

This is not a media buying jobthis is a product leadership position.

As Director of Paid Ads, you will own the strategy, structure, and scalability of our Paid Ads product, evolving an already best-in-class system into one thats even more powerful, measurable, and enduring. Youll report directly to the VP of Client Services and be responsible for defining the vision, building scalable systems, and supporting the broader team to deliver world-class results.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Growing the performance and efficiency of our REI Paid Ads product

  • Building a replicable system to launch and scale into new verticals

  • Ensuring accurate conversion tracking across all accounts

  • Improving client retention within Paid Ads

  • Mentoring and equipping Account Managers with product knowledge and tools

You will play a vital role in helping our company deliver the highest-retaining and most valuable marketing product in the industry.



What Youll Own

Strategic Product Leadership

  • Define and evolve the Paid Ads product experience, roadmap, and KPIs

  • Build scalable systems for REI and new verticals

  • Prioritize initiatives that drive retention, revenue, and long-term impact

  • Think like a product ownernot just a channel expert

  • Empower internal teams with product clarity and confidence

Optimization & Scale

  • Diagnose issues across campaigns and implement global optimizations

  • Ensure accurate, trackable, and standardized conversion events

  • Build cross-account systems: shared negatives, templates, landing page tests

  • Automate and templatize to reduce workload while improving output

  • Support retention by improving consistency and repeatability

Paid Media Expertise

  • Lead performance strategy across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Microsoft Ads

  • Improve core metrics like cost-per-lead, conversion rate, and ROAS

  • Build repeatable success across small and large budgets

  • Stay up-to-date on platform changes and evolving ad tactics

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales on audits, forecasts, and product strategy during deals

  • Diagnose client performance issues in collaboration with Account Managers

  • Mentor and support AMs to increase product fluency and confidence

  • Collaborate with onboarding and product teams to ensure delivery excellence

  • Be a strategic voice in vertical expansion and client strategy



What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in paid media, with strong Google Ads and Meta knowledge

  • Proven success in building and productizing a marketing service within an agency

  • Strong systems thinker who thrives in ownership roles and builds scalable solutions

  • Ability to mentor, influence, and collaborate across teams and departments

  • Data-driven mindsetable to turn analysis into high-impact decisions

  • Excited by scale, leverage, and solving problems once for hundreds of clients

  • Willingness to become deeply knowledgeable in the REI and Restoration industries
