Job Summary:
The Direct Support Professional "DSP" provides support and assistance to adults with developmental disabilities; helps in the development of the individual's independent living skills; develops and implements energetic leisure and recreational activities for the individuals, transports individuals throughout the community, maintains documentation and contact with the Nurse, House Manager, Assistant Residential Director or Residential Program Director, as appropriate. Paid training is provided for MANDT, CPR/FA, BBA, and more.

Job Duties include: Coordinating & participating in recreational activities Transporting individuals within the community Maintaining/cleaning the residence, preparing meals, & laundry Managing overall health including medications & medical appointments Documenting your work as progress notes in an electronic records system Other duties as assigned The following are required to be considered for employment: COVID-19 Vaccine Valid Driver's License with no restrictions Motor Vehicle Record with 2 or less points, with no driving restrictions or DUI violations in the last 7 years. Ability to lift 50 Lbs. unassisted High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required Skills Demonstrated ability to communicate (verbally and written) in English with individuals, medical professionals and co-workers Demonstrated ability to use basic computers skills using and electronic record/medication administration system. Demonstrated ability to use math skills to administer medication. Ability to safely handle a motor vehicle and transport others including individuals and staff. Ability to push, pull, and bend up to 50 pounds unassisted. Shifts Available (Full-Time, Part-Time, and Occasional available): Monday thru Friday - Morning, Evening, and Night Shifts Saturday & Sunday - Morning, Evening, and Night Shifts Overnight shifts are awake overnight. All shifts require staff to alert, active and available.
