Dining Room Server

The Cypress of Charlotte is recruiting for a hospitality focused Dining Room Server to join our fine dining culinary team on a part-time schedule for the vacant shifts below and may include weekends and holidays. This role provides full-scope, hands on serving functions within the community.

Available Shifts:

• Monday - Saturday, 4-9pm
• Thursday - Saturday, 4-9pm
• Friday - Saturday, 4-9pm
• Sunday - 9am - 3pm

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Dining Room Server:

• Always exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take order, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Must be age 16 or older.
• Experience in food service work preferred but will train.
• Experience in working with seniors preferred.
• Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understands requests.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.

Pay Range: $15.00 - $15.86 per hour, depending on experience.
