This position will be cross trained as a cook.CareCore Lakeridge is seeking a dietary Aide to assist with the following:Prepare meals and beverages using specific proceduresServe meals using standards to maintain sanitation and qualityStore stock appropriately in order to maintain cleanliness and prevent food spoilageAccurately record meals served and monitor temperatures of foodClean assigned dining areas using appropriate proceduresWash dishes and/or utensils according to acceptable standards of practiceEnsure compliance with sanitationParticipate in menu planningCook Duties Include:Works with dietitian and Food Service Manager to ensure that proper resident diets are followedPrepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchenEnsure all food and other items are stored properlyMonitor stock par levels to report to Food Service DirectorAccepts, approves and puts away food and supply deliverySupervises dietary aides under the direction of the Food Service Director
