Dental Hygiene Assistant

We are seeking a Hygiene Assistant that shares our passion for patient care and education, as well as creating a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
Assist Hygienist with procedures and chairside charting
Take high-quality dental radiographs and document appropriately
Perform Dental Hygiene Scans, periodontal charting, and preliminary assessments as needed
Assist during cleanings, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride treatments, and exams
Set up and break down operatories in accordance with OSHA and infection control protocols
Support hygiene team with schedule management, recall outreach, and patient flow
Deliver outstanding service to make patients feel informed, comfortable, and cared for
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Radiology and coronal polishing certification required to be compliant with the State Dental Board
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with a dental software, experience with Dentrix preferred
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to partnering with all team members to create a great environment
