Dental Assistant | The Magnificent Smile | Chicago, IL | Full Time Location: The Magnificent Smile The Magnificent Smile is excited to welcome a Dental Assistant to our growing team! We are a high-quality, patient-focused practice committed to delivering exceptional care in a compassionate environment. Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM Enjoy a stable weekday schedule with no late evenings or weekends! Key Responsibilities: Greet patients warmly and escort them to treatment areas Assist the dentist chairside with procedures and patient care Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized operatory per infection control standards Review and update patient health histories; ensure proper documentation Educate and support patients during their visit to ensure comfort and understanding Prepare and stock operatories; maintain clinical supply inventory Set up trays and instruments in accordance with the daily schedule Perform preventive maintenance on dental equipment Take digital radiographs Follow all clinical protocols including infection control, sterilization, emergency response, and specialty treatment programs (implants, perio, etc.) Requirements: Minimum 6 months of dental assisting experience (preferred) Coronal polishing certificate Sealant certificate Experience with Dentrix practice management software Why Join Us?
