Customer Success / Customer Account Representative
Cimarron is seeking a Customer Success/Customer Account Representative to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado.
Key Duties:
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned customer accounts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with federal end users, stakeholders, and internal technical teams.
- Capture, clarify, and communicate customer requirements to engineering, architecture, and service delivery teams.
- Track and resolve customer issues while proactively identifying areas for improvement and managing expectations.
- Support regular status updates, service reviews, and customer success reporting.
- Advocate for customer needs internally to ensure alignment with contractual and technical obligations.
- Support customer onboarding and lifecycle management in a hybrid computing environment, including data transfer, storage, and high-performance computing services.
- Coordinate communications between account holders and technical delivery teams such as architecture, storage, and operations.
- Leverage executive-level communication skills and IT knowledge to engage and align multiple stakeholders.
- Translate customer needs into actionable requirements and drive satisfaction through tailored enterprise solutions.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- 2 or more years of experience in an IT-focused customer account management or customer success position.
- Familiar with requirements gathering, customer lifecycle management, and technical stakeholder engagement.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or another related field.
- Experience supporting technical government customers.
- Understanding of on-prem, hybrid cloud (AWS/Azure) and enterprise IT systems.
