Customer Service Representative

Location: Orangeburg, South Carolina

Job Description Summary: Responds to customer inquiries by telephone, e-mail, or chat to provide non-technical problem resolution. Resolves mostly routine and some non-routine, more complex problems and communicates solutions or requested information to the customer. Analyzes a customer's service needs and refers to other service or technical departments for follow up as needed. Uses a customer relationship application or database to record activities and research product information.

Additional Job Description: Education: High School Degree or Equivalent Work Experience: 0-6 months

Physical Requirements: Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, and walking. Ability to climb stairs, work indoors, and work outside in temperature extremes. Ability to work from elevated areas, in confined spaces, and from kneeling positions. Ability to bend, twist at the waist, and squat. Ability to perform "pinching" operations, gross motor activities, and fine manipulation with fingers and hands. Ability to reach overhead, perform repetitive motions, and use both legs. Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, color discrimination, depth perception, peripheral vision, and hearing acuity. Ability to deal effectively with stressful situations, work rotating shifts, and work overtime as required. Ability to work in a latex safe environment, and maintain tactile and olfactory sensory functions. Ability to be qualified physically for respirator use.
