We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Orangeburg, New York. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting daily operations and ensuring exceptional service for our clients. This is a long-term contract position within the manufacturing industry, offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine clerical tasks, including data entry, document filing, and record management.
  • Provide assistance to team members with their daily responsibilities and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Handle administrative activities such as photocopying, scanning, and preparing documentation.
  • Compile and distribute daily departmental reports to management for operational insights.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transaction histories.
  • Ensure the workspace is kept clean, organized, and conducive to productivity.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
  • Support order entry processes and handle inbound and outbound calls professionally.
  • Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in customer service or administration is advantageous.
    • Strong communication skills paired with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
    • Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to multitask effectively.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
    • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
    • Previous experience in customer service or data entry is preferred.
