ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As a Customer Service Representative-State Farm Agent Team Member with a State Farm Insurance Agency, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answer customer inquiries and provide policy information.
Assist customers with policy changes and updates.
Process insurance claims and follow up with customers.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
Build productive relationships to create a pool of prospective insurance clients from various sources
Evaluate business or individual customers' needs and financial status and propose protection plans that meet their criteria
Work with clients to deliver risk management strategies that fit their insurance risk profiles
Constantly update our database and records
Use your knowledge of our insurance products to recommend, explain and sell policies to both cold and warm leads.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
Current or recent insurance customer service/sales experience preferred.
Positive attitude - Coachable
Strong work ethics
Ability to constantly update job knowledge and learn about new insurance products and services
Insurance Licenses (Property & Casualty and Life & Health required
Overall total comp for this role is based on candidates' insurance experience, licenses, skillset, education

This position is with a State Farm Agent's office, not State Farm Companies.

Compensation: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

We help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement Planning, Business Insurance, College Planning, Health Insurance, and Renters Insurance.
Our office is located in Chicago, 60618 (North Center).
Our office is open Mon-Fri - 9am-5pm.
I have been a State Farm agent since 1989.
