Position Overview: Poonam Walia State Farm is seeking a self-motivated, competitive and results-driven energetic professional in helping our business grow through value-based conversations. In this role, you will focus on developing and maintaining relationships with business clients, identifying their insurance needs, and recommending appropriate State Farm business insurance products to protect their assets and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services by understanding clients’ business risks and insurance requirements.
Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
Prepare accurate insurance quotes and proposals based on clients' needs and preferences, effectively presenting the value and benefits of the offered insurance products.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell additional insurance products to existing clients, maximizing their coverage and overall satisfaction.
Assist clients throughout the sales process, from initial contact to policy issuance.
Collaborate with underwriters and claims specialists to ensure client satisfaction.
Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and regulatory changes.
Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.
Qualifications:
Proven sales experience
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset.
Ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Valid insurance license or willingness to obtain one.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Bilingual- Spanish preferred
