ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Deidre Bembry - State Farm Agent, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support.
Greeting clients and prospects who walk in or call. Processing policy changes, updating household information, and handling policyholder claims. Contacting and asking policyholders and new prospects to set appointments. Preparing sales materials for the agent. Handling routine office maintenance and ordering supplies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide policy information.
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Assist customers with policy changes and updates.
  • Process insurance claims and follow up with customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Answer ALL incoming calls.
  • Process and take ALL payments.
  • Screen, forward calls or take messages and answer routing customer inquiries regarding products and services.
  • Calculate premiums, applicable discounts and other payments for products and services.
  • Assist and follow up with customers on DDS Setup (odometer readings) and other DSS service transactions.
  • Working with little supervision and depending on oneself to get things done.
  • Working cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
