Transportation Specialist

Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve performance score discrepancies for the logistics network carrier base.
- Partner with teams to identify and drive process improvements that enhance service, iterate technology, and boost carrier performance engagement and growth.
- Collaborate on the development and delivery of key programs, metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to facilitate key business decisions across customer-facing programs.
- Pull data from numerous databases using tools such as Excel, QuickSight, Hubble, SQL, and other data management systems.
Essential Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in dispute resolution, transportation, customer service, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office with basic computer skills.
- Effective communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing large data sets to drive performance and process improvements.
- Operational focus with no phone interaction required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables, charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, and array formulas.
- Preferred: 1+ years of experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent.
- Preferred: 1+ years of management experience.
- Bachelor's degree is a plus.
Work Environment
This position is 100% onsite with various shift schedules available: two positions from Sunday to Wednesday and two positions from Wednesday onward. The opportunity allows for learning and growth within the transportation teams, providing an entry-level corporate role that supports peak business ramps.
Job Type & Location
This is a contract to hire position based out of Nashville, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
