About the role This position is responsible for interactional work, receiving, processing, and professionally resolving issues with International customer orders which involves direct contact with all levels of distributors staff, agents, and end-users. This position requires moderate supervision. Responsibilities Responsible for the handling of international customer orders, returns, requests, suggestions, complaints and credit support processing Processes invoices, enters orders and confirms orders via fax, email and/or phone Create required documents for customer orders and shipments including order confirmation, commercial invoice and pre-alerts Provide Review letters of credit for shipment and document terms, request amendments as needed shipping and billing documents adhering to the LC terms Coordinate international orders, working with forwarders, HTS#s, order entry, resolve payment issues with Leviton credit and customer, determine logistics for shipment with the Leviton Import/Export department Work with Leviton Trade Compliance department to obtain certificates of origin as needed for shipping documents Provide international customer price coordination Perform pricing resolution on international orders at the direction of supervisor, manager and/or lead Investigate and respond to all international customer/salespersons inquiries regarding shipments and product availability Provide customer service to the international accounts in a professional and proactive manner Interacts with various departments such as Supply Chain Planning, Quality Assurance, Distribution, Marketing, Logistics, etc., to ensure customer requirements are met Assist with training to new or inexperience CSRs on international customer service processes Other duties as assigned Qualifications Must be able to understand and communicate effectively with others in an international setting Ability to be flexible with scheduling to meet the continual change in customer's schedules Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high stress environment Ability to operate according to established procedures, but occasionally determine own practices Detail oriented with superior organizational skills Ability to maintain cordial customer relations Professional oral and written communication skills Ability to use logic and reasoning in situations where written procedures do not apply While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, listen, talk and use hand/finger motions to handle office equipment Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds Most tasks performed with the use of a desktop computer Clearly expresses ideas Communication style Good listening skills Education & Experience High School diploma required, college degree preferred 3 years of related experience and or training in a customer service call center environment Telecommunications, Datacom, Lighting controls, Electrical industry preferred 1 year international experience required What We Offer Comprehensive benefits include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance programs 401K plans with employer-matching contributions Tuition reimbursement PTO Paid holidays Volunteer time off For more information about benefits, please go to: https://careers.leviton.com/benefits Leviton is an EEO/AA Employer.
