Position Summary
Austin Retina Associates is seeking a responsible, self-motivated individual to join our call center team. This role will include making and changing appointments and other assigned duties.
Duties/Responsibilities Answer 200-300 phone calls per day with multiple calls coming in at once Schedule and change patient appointments using multiple software systems Communicate with the scheduling team as needed to ensure calls are answered timely Take messages for staff as needed Assess patient needs and schedule them accordingly, communicating with physician and/or their teams as needed Communicate with physician teams as needed to support their scheduling needs Perform administrative support as needed Required Skill / Abilities Fluent bilingual in Spanish Demonstrated effectiveness showing courtesy, diligence, integrity, and teamwork Strong interpersonal and customer service skills (effective listening, clear communication, effective customer problem resolution, warm demeanor) Desired Attributes Experience with a busy phone in an office setting Experience with medical scheduling Perks and More Schedule approximately 8-5 pm during weekdays Hybrid Hourly pay (nonexempt, eligible for overtime) Market competitive starting pay. Pay range: $18 - $22 / hr (commensurate with experience) Opportunity to grow into other roles like insurance specialist or accounts receivable specialist Company-paid health insurance Dental, Vision Holidays and PTO 401(k) with company contribution
