ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As our new Customer Relations Representative, you will be the first face people see when they walk through our doors. A warm smile, cheerful disposition, and enthusiastic attitude go a long way in your success in this role. Throughout your work day you will perform activities such as answering calls, taking payments, making policy changes, and creating conversation with our existing clients, finding unrecognized needs and offering appropriate products to solve those needs. You are a problem-solver. You must be willing to get personal with people about life and finances. You must be willing to ask about life insurance. It is one of the most important services we provide.

Property and Casualty as well as Life and Health licenses are required for this position and must be obtained prior to starting. If you do not currently possess licensing, the process will take between 2-6 weeks of full time studying and multiple state exams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed.
  • Propose new lines of insurance including life insurance and disability insurance to new and existing customers.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options and make appropriate recommendations for other lines of insurance.
  • Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business.
  • Establish new customer contact and acquire new business.
