The Customer Experience Technology Associate Manager is an essential leadership role in a dynamic agile environment. You will develop a high-performing team while coaching members for skill enhancement and career advancement. This position involves planning and managing projects and budgets to ensure delivery of significant business value. Our Technology department focuses on in-store customer-facing technology solutions, driving measurable value for our store teams and customers. We act as a crucial bridge between operations and technology, emphasizing innovation, stability, continuous improvement, and radical ownership.
This role follows a hybrid work schedule: Monday-Wednesday in the office and Thursday-Friday remote, with minimal travel required.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead one or more software development teams, including architects, developers, scrum masters, and technical product owners.
Focus on talent development by actively coaching team members to enhance their technical and functional skills.
Craft resourcing strategies and allocate budgets to ensure effective project implementation.
Drive technology roadmaps that align with business goals.
Ensure delivery of business value with strategies for support and participation in on-call rotations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners and external vendors.
Assess project viability and recommend strategies to meet customer needs, managing execution and delivery effectively.
Guide project teams and integrate activities with other IT functions for successful implementation.
Facilitate the removal of obstacles in agile processes.
Ensure development and integration of application systems comply with security standards and established methodologies.
Monitor and provide updates on multiple concurrent project statuses.
Manage team member staffing and selection processes.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a software development role.
Prior experience in the retail industry, particularly with customer-facing applications, is highly preferred.
Proven track record of building and nurturing high-performing teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Experience in organizing and executing large-scale projects is required.
Familiar with budget management and understanding financial impacts on P&L.
Knowledgeable in software development frameworks and agile methodologies.
Experience in building or implementing applications with new and emerging technologies.
Adept at presenting effective solutions to complex business challenges.
