Key Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers at every stage, from sales and appraisals to test drives and financing applications. Conduct vehicle condition assessments by gathering and communicating information to buyers for customer appraisals. Receive incoming vehicles and complete the daily scanning and reconciliation of inventory. Perform quality inspections to ensure all vehicles meet CarMax standards. Handle various administrative tasks including maintaining transaction paperwork, obtaining registration information, auditing completed paperwork, and managing cash/payment transactions. Create and manage service appointments, ensuring accuracy in documentation for billing purposes. Role Purpose This energetic retail sales role involves teamwork to meet goals and manage diverse customer interactions. The ability to quickly build rapport and understand customer needs is essential. Your responsibilities will include vehicle sales, processing paperwork, assessing vehicle conditions, and managing repair orders, all with limited supervision. Team collaboration is key, and there are promising opportunities for those looking to advance into mentorship or leadership roles. Qualifications and Requirements Excellent communication skills. Confidence in yourself, the product, and the CarMax brand. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships. Exhibit strong team behavior, including integrity, respect, and fun. Balance the needs of customers with business objectives. Thoroughly understand and meet customer needs. Develop win-win solutions for customer issues. Complete tasks efficiently and accurately while following processes. Pay close attention to detail while managing multiple duties in a fast-paced environment. Able to read, interpret, and transcribe data accurately. Capability to lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferably, experience in sales or customer service, particularly in retail. Valid Driver's License. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
