Description: As a C-Store Assistant General Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting the General Manager to drive our store's operational success while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Your focus will be on sales performance, cleanliness, food quality, and team development. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver outstanding service to customers, acting as a role model for employees, and placing customer satisfaction at the forefront of our operations. Foster positive and professional relationships with coworkers, customers, and vendors through respectful communication and teamwork. Ensure every guest enjoys a courteous and seamless shopping experience. Efficiently process guest transactions at the cash register or self-checkout, recommending complementary products to enhance their purchases. Address and resolve customer issues promptly and effectively. Drive excellence in food service by following processes, setting sales goals, maintaining product quality, and leveraging training resources. Guarantee that all food items are available and that preparation areas and equipment are maintained in pristine condition. Uphold high standards of store cleanliness. Supervise adherence to safety regulations, including local food safety laws. Perform shift responsibilities and uphold the store's presentation standards. Assist in training, developing, and coaching employees to maximize their potential. Provide feedback on employee performance to the General Manager for continuous improvement. Implement all company marketing and promotional initiatives effectively. Ensure compliance with laws governing the sale of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products. Use established protocols to maintain accurate inventory and cash control. Be flexible to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays. Requirements: A High School Diploma or GED is required. 1+ years of management experience in food service, retail, or restaurant is preferred. Experience in a high-volume, guest-centered environment is an advantage. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and reaching throughout your shift. Must meet all requirements for an Enmarket Store Associate.
