As a CMA, you will play a vital role in providing support to healthcare professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of medical facilities, and delivering high-quality patient care. Patient Care:/pulliAssist healthcare providers in performing various medical procedures and examinations./liliObtain and record patient vital signs, height, weight, and medical history accurately./liliPrepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and well-being./liliAdminister medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers./liliEducate patients about their medical conditions, treatments, and preventive measures./li/ulp2. Administrative Duties:/pulliGreet patients, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow within the medical facility./liliMaintain electronic health records (EHR) accurately and confidentially./liliHandle patient inquiries, phone calls, and correspondence professionally and efficiently./liliCoordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare facilities as needed./liliManage medical supplies and equipment inventory, ensuring availability and proper functioning./li/ulp3. Clinical Support:/pulliAssist with minor surgical procedures and wound care./liliPerform routine laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis./liliPrepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment./liliPerform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other diagnostic tests as required./liliFollow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment./li/ulp4.
