General Job Description
At Bay Vista Commons, the part-time Cook will support the food preparation and nutritional needs as directed for those in our care and for those we intend to serve. The cook will assist with kitchen care, meal planning and execution of service as directed. The cook will also have the pleasure of interacting with our population through serving and assisting in the dining areas.

Bay Vista Commons is a Bremerton Housing authority Community offering Assisted Living and Memory Care to seniors in Bremerton and the greater West Sound Region. Wage Offered: $19.50/hr. up to $22.83/hr. based of years of applicable experience as determined by Hiring Manager.
Shifts available:
6am-2pm and 11am-7pm. Flex Schedule
We are looking for:
- Someone who experiences joy and pride in preparing meals from scratch
- Someone with exceptional customer service skills
- Minimum 18 Years of age
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, employees and outside contacts
- Ability to multi-task in a team environment
- Ability to understand, implement and follow policies and procedures
- Reliable attendance for scheduled hours; willingness to be flexible in covering additional hours
- 2 years minimum of experience is preferred
- Experience in healthcare or a position where large quantity of product being produced is preferred.
