We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook II to join our culinary team in Gaithersburg, MD. As a Cook II, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our customers. Follow recipes and production sheets accurately, documenting any necessary adjustments. Prepare pan garnishes for front-of-house operations with attention to detail and presentation. Set up and organize steam tables according to diagrams, ensuring timely and efficient meal service. Monitor and maintain proper food temperatures throughout meal service, adhering to safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and consistent food quality. Assist in inventory management and stock rotation to minimize waste. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all sanitation protocols. Contribute to menu planning and suggest improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, required Minimum of 1 year of cooking experience as a grill cook or line cook, preferably in a healthcare setting, required. ServSafe certification, preferred
