Join our team in an outpatient setting where you can utilize your clinical and administrative skills to support healthcare delivery. We are seeking someone with strong communication abilities who can effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff while maintaining a patient-centric focus. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Duties: Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms. Obtain and record vital signs including height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature. Assist patients with compression stockings. Take before and after pictures as directed. Room Preparation: Ensure rooms are well-stocked and prepared for procedures. Assist with medication preparation and syringe filling as allowed by state law. Patient Communication: Provide pre- and post-procedure instructions and prescriptions. Coordinate clinic schedule to optimize patient flow. Administrative Tasks: Maintain compliance records and assist with medical supply inventory management. Ensure patient records are handled with privacy and confidentiality. General Operations: Troubleshoot daily clinic issues and uphold a safe work environment. Assist in training new staff on policies and procedures. Additional Engagement: Participate in cross-training initiatives to enhance clinic functions. Provide coverage across clinics when necessary, demonstrating teamwork and adaptability. Embrace opportunities for continuous learning for professional growth. Skills and Qualifications: Strong administrative and communication skills. Excellent time management and attention to detail. Familiarity with Athena EHR or similar systems. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred. Education and Experience: High School Diploma and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program. Preferred certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Basic life support certification or ability to complete the course within the first 30 days of employment. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
