The Community Events Coordinator is a part-time, hands-on role focused on connecting with local residents and representing the company at community gatherings throughout the Flathead Valley. This part-time, hourly role focuses on representing the company at community gatherings by setting up booths, engaging with residents, and helping educate the public about their services. The position is ideal for someone outgoing, organized, and enthusiastic about connecting with people in the community.
Wage: $20 to $25/hour, depending on experience.
Schedule: Part-time, flexible, based on the event calendar - mainly evening and weekend events, plus occasional weekday events.
Essential Functions and Duties:
Monitor community calendars and local organizations to identify events for outreach and make recommendations for new opportunities
Coordinate participation in approved events, including registration, logistics, setup, and takedown of materials
Attend community events, fairs, and gatherings to represent the company in a professional, friendly manner
Engage with attendees, answer questions, provide information about services, and conduct product or promotional giveaways
Track participation, distribute materials, capture attendee interest, and relay potential leads to the appropriate team
Promote events through social media and community channels, sharing photos and highlights to increase awareness and engagement
Qualifications:
Outgoing, personable, and comfortable engaging with members of the public
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage event logistics and materials
Reliable and flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and occasional weekdays
Basic familiarity with social media platforms for promoting events and sharing updates
Ability to represent the company professionally and maintain a positive, friendly demeanor
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to track participation, capture leads, and communicate effectively with team members
