Do you like working on a great team in a wonderful environment? If so, we have the opportunity for you! Flour Bakery + Cafe is hiring a full-time PM Prep staff position . The role requires weekend availability and reports directly to the Savory Production Chef, with guidance from other managers on duty. Schedule: Sunday: 7 am - 3 pm Monday: OFF Tuesday - Thursday: 3 pm - 11 pm Friday: OFF Saturday: 3 pm - 11 pm (flexible on Thursday and Friday shifts) Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Follow the prep list as directed by the chef or lead prep. Complete tasks in the specified order. Support coworkers to ensure efficient prep work. Follow all recipes and techniques accurately. Monitor product quality and perform taste tests. Provide constructive feedback to staff. Maintain sanitation standards and clean stations. Assist with kitchen upkeep and deep cleaning after production. Maintain an orderly and clean kitchen environment. Qualifications: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, push, pull, reach, and lift less than 50 lbs. Safe use of kitchen utensils, including knives, ovens, and slicers. Maintain grooming and uniform standards. Strong sense of urgency and hospitality. Recognize when and where cleaning is needed. Ability to accept feedback and follow directions. Willingness to work as part of a team and assist other departments as needed. Work Environment: Ability to work in noisy environments with machinery. Comfort around various aromas and temperature fluctuations. Efforts to prevent cross-contamination, especially regarding gluten. Compensation: The starting wage is $15.50 - $17.50 per hour, including a shared percentage of sales (BOH appreciation), averaging an additional $1 - $2 per hour.
