Summary
The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Driver is to safely transport materials using a Class A commercial vehicle, ensuring all items are properly packed, loaded, and delivered to job sites or customers. This role also supports warehouse operations as needed.
Essential Functions Operate a Class A commercial vehicle (tractor-trailer) to transport materials, equipment, and products.
Ensure all materials are packed, secured, and loaded properly to avoid damage during transit.
Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip; report any mechanical issues.
Assist with loading and unloading materials at the warehouse and job sites.
Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
Support general warehouse tasks, including receiving, staging, organizing, and inventory.
Follow all DOT, safety, and company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Required High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Clean driving record.
1+ year of commercial driving experience preferred.
Forklift
Skills & Competencies Required Ability to operate a tractor-trailer and forklift safely.
Strong communication skills, including written documentation.
Basic technology skills, including MS Office Suite and mobile delivery apps.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
