Webster’s French Bistro is a beloved dining destination in the heart of North Tonawanda, celebrated for delivering an authentic and refined French culinary experience. We are currently seeking a Cold Line Cook (Garde Manger) to join our culinary team full-time. This role is essential to preparing and plating our cold dishes—including salads, appetizers, and desserts—with precision and care. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and artfully plate cold dishes such as salads, appetizers, and composed desserts.
Follow established recipes while maintaining strict standards for taste, quality, and presentation.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation at all times.
Assist in managing food inventory and placing supply orders when needed.
Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations in accordance with NYS Department of Health guidelines.
Training & Growth Opportunities:
Hands-on training and mentorship from our Executive Chef.
Opportunities to expand your culinary skills in classic French technique and presentation.
Exposure to all kitchen stations for those looking to grow in a casual fine dining environment.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a professional kitchen is preferred.
Strong eye for presentation and detail.
Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Team player with excellent communication and time management skills.
Culinary school background a plus but not required.
