Saxon Aerospace is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join their Metals & Plastics Division in Tacoma, WA. This is a direct hire opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about quality and innovation. This is a Direct Hire Role Pay Rate: $40.00 - $48.00 Day Shift - Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities Program and optimize 3- and 4-axis CNC machines for both metal and plastic components Interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications Select appropriate cutting tools , set speeds and feeds , and optimize toolpaths Create detailed setup sheets , tool lists , and process documentation Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Account Management teams Provide setup support and guidance to CNC machinists Contribute to fixture design , cost reduction initiatives , and process improvements
What Our Client is Looking For 3+ years of CNC and manual mill/lathe setup and operation 2+ years of CNC programming experience 1+ year of experience with SolidWorks and Mastercam Familiarity with CATIA, Esprit, Vericut , and ERP systems (e.g., IQMS, JobBoss) is a plus Strong understanding of GD&T , CAD/CAM systems , and manufacturing best practices Dependable, adaptable, and committed to safety and quality
