This role involves launching aerospace components into production, understanding complex engineering requirements, and developing manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Develop and implement manufacturing processes, including process planning, documentation, gaging strategies, tooling, and work holding design Advance manufacturing process technologies Write CNC programs for turning processes Specify and acquire process machinery, tooling, gages, and packaging Communicate with suppliers of manufacturing equipment, cutting tools, and work holding solutions Troubleshoot manufacturing process issues, CNC programs, and quality concerns Collaborate with production, design, materials engineering, and quality teams for product launches Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with at least 3 years of machining experience Understanding of engineering drawings and specifications Proficiency in GD&T and inspection methodologies Experience creating process work instructions CNC programming skills Knowledge of machining work holding, tooling, and gaging strategies Strong communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Interest in gas turbine engine manufacturing U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance Preferred Qualifications Experience with Siemens NX CAM software Experience with Siemens CNC controls Experience machining aerospace materials like stainless steel and nickel alloys Additional Information Williams International is a Drug-Free Workplace and an Equal Opportunity Employer.
