Primary Responsibilities: Program, set up, and operate CNC Mills and CNC Lathes. Read engineering drawings and CAD models to create unique precision parts. Contribute to the manufacturing of complex aerospace components. Adapt to varied projects in a fast-paced R&D environment with minimal assistance. Basic Qualifications: High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 3 years of precision machining experience on CNC Mills & CNC Lathes. Proficient in setup and operation of various machine tools. Experience with manufacturing large aerospace components from exotic materials is a bonus. Ability to read engineering drawings and CAD models effectively. Physical capability to lift 35+ pounds unassisted. Willingness to work overtime and adhere to a full-time schedule of 4 days per week, 10 hours per shift on 2nd shift. Must be a US Citizen and possess (or be eligible for) a Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in 5-axis machining using Fanuc and Siemens 840D controls. Familiarity with 5-axis and/or mill-turn operations. Two years of experience with 2D & 3D CAM software tools. Background in machining within a prototype environment.
