Role Overview: As a Climbing Retail Associate, you will play a key role in driving engagement, training, and educational programs related to climbing for both teammates and customers. Your excitement and expertise will inspire others, ensuring that climbers of all ages feel confident and supported. Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional customer service by embodying the company's service and selling standards. Serve as a product expert, offering consultative advice and showcasing excellent knowledge of climbing products. Instruct climbing techniques to climbers of varying skill levels. Conduct instructional lessons as needed or requested by customers. Maintain company standards for merchandise presentation to showcase top climbing products effectively. Assist the Climbing Lead in organizing and executing team-building events at the rock wall. Operations: Identify and address safety concerns related to the rock wall and climbing equipment. Adhere to established policies regarding safety, loss prevention, and operational procedures. Create an inclusive environment where all teammates and customers feel respected and safe. Support the store team with a collaborative approach in various roles as needed. Complete additional tasks as assigned by management. Physical Security & Safety: Contribute to maintaining compliance with safety-related standard operating procedures. Ensure the safety and security of teammates and customers in accordance with local regulations. Keep all necessary certifications current and up to date.
