Class B Truck Drivers Individual Food Service has extensive experience providing service to every type of food service industry. IFS, located in Bell, CA has over 90 years of experience providing quality goods to clients large and small. We are seeking dependable and friendly Class B truck drivers who can consistently ensure safe and accurate deliveries. Sign on Bonus $2,500.00 to be paid after 90 days of employment. Starting Pay: $21.65 Hourly Pay Rate Duties and Responsibilities: Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehicle Pick-up loads and organize goods in an ordered, logical manner Ensure contents are properly secured inside of the truck to prevent breakage or damage Safely and efficiently handle and unload goods at selected destinations Stay on a predetermined route and ensure timely deliveries Communicate with dispatch as needed Confirm contents of each shipment load matches the manifest document Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs Comply with ICC and DOT regulations Requirements and Qualifications: Valid Class B driver's license required Highschool or GED equivalent required Experience with Local Deliveries/inside deliveries Experience driving Straight truck (bobtail 24ft to 26ft) Manual transmission preferred Able to use lift gate, operate pallet jacks.
