Clean Harbors is seeking a Class B Driver (Retail Technician) to join our team and provide essential environmental services. Your role will involve the collection and disposal of damaged, discarded, or recalled products, as well as recycling activities, including light bulbs, oil, oil filters, and engine fluids. Key Responsibilities: Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all safe work practices and policies. Pick up, pack, and transport damaged goods and recalled products. Load, pack, and segregate materials for safe transportation. Drive a box truck to visit retail customer sites. Engage with customers during pickups at each location. Prepare DOT shipping documents. Utilize technology such as laptops, printers, handheld devices, and smartphones. Conduct jobs in compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as Clean Harbors policies. Ensure the accuracy of drum counts and conditions for shipment following company procedures. Operate vehicles safely adhering to U.S. DOT and other relevant requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Required: Valid Driver's license. Strong customer service skills. Ability to use laptops and handheld devices. Ability to obtain a hazmat endorsement within 30 days of employment. Ability to perform physical tasks as required. Successful completion of background check, drug test, and physical examination. Preferred: Previous experience in commercial driving. Route driving experience. Manual labor experience. Current hazmat endorsement.
