Timmons Group is currently seeking a Civil Project Manager/Senior Civil Project Manager - Stormwater candidate to join our Stormwater Group located in our Richmond, VA office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: Managing assigned projects and developing client accounts successfully. Marketing, client development, ensuring technical quality, profitability, scheduling, coordinating project staff, communicating with clients, negotiating scopes and fees, billing, and assisting in fee collection. Maintaining excellent relationships with clients, cross-selling Timmons Group services, and ongoing communication with the Group Leader. Managing multiple projects of varying sizes simultaneously. Preparing specifications using research and catalogs for materials, installation, inspection, and payments. Completing design details and plan sets. Researching and writing objective summary reports for project work or inspections. Working with local governments on TMDL and MS4 regulatory compliance issues. Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering, with professional registration (P.E.) in Virginia or a timely plan to obtain it. 6+ years of experience in civil engineering related to Stormwater management. Ability to manage schedules and budgets for multiple projects. Experience in marketing and supervising technical staff. Working knowledge of CADD and Civil 3D software.
