About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) with a strong background in D2C growth for online training courses, eLearning, SaaS, and coaching services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in customer and client acquisition strategies that have led to significant growth, particularly through performance media, paid search, direct response advertising, and marketing. Expertise in the top of the online sales funnel, including email marketing, video, and various forms of sales copy, is essential. The CMO will be responsible for leading a small, dynamic marketing and sales team, with a focus on direct-to-customer tactics and a deep understanding of the entire customer journey. The role also involves making substantial contributions to the transformation of operations, coaching, training, events, technology, data/analytics, sales, and customer service.
Applicants for the CMO position at the company should have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a senior marketing role, with a history of working in a full-time capacity at two or more companies. The successful candidate will have a background in driving profitable sales growth, ideally with a focus on individual entrepreneurs and small business owners. The role requires a hands-on leader who can inspire and motivate a team, and who is dedicated to the long-term success of the business. Experience in targeting and converting leads, particularly in the range of $2K-$40K+, is a key requirement. The CMO will be expected to have a deep understanding of the D2C sales funnel and to be adept at using a variety of marketing tactics to achieve excellent ROI and ROAS.
